The assessment test helps us place you in the right English classes.
This helps you succeed in school.
El examen de asesoramiento y colocación nos ayuda a

ORIENTATION
At the orientation you will:
- Learn how to read the schedule of classes, how to plan your
class schedule and how to register for classes.
- Learn about important dates and deadlines.
- Learn about college support services.

This course emphasizes the sharpening of pronunciation skills and the
explanation and practice of correct grammar usage. Other areas of study
include prepositions, phrasal verbs, idioms, relaxed English, listening
exercises, vocabulary and conversation.

ESL: At Home with English
A distance learning ESL course using video check-out and workbooks.
Students check out materials during office hours and take them home to
complete at a convenient time. After completing the requirements to
their own satisfaction, they meet with an instructor for an interview
and evaluation. This self-paced course is for any adult who cannot
attend our ESL classes and for those who would like further study.
There is a one-time, refundable $20 deposit for video check-out.
