THE CITIZENSHIP CENTER

citizenship center logoThe Santa Barbara City College, Continuing Education Division’s Citizenship Center is the only community-based organization assisting people with their citizenship process in Santa Barbara.

The Center is a member of the Naturalization Advisory Committee, a group of community agencies working with the United Status Bureau of Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) Los Angeles district offices in immigration policy and procedures.

Approximately 20,000 people have become United States citizens through the SBCC Citizenship Center since 1990.

Citizenship classes are offered through the Adult Education Division, while the Citizenship Center offers the citizenship application and photos for nominal fees.

The Citizenship Center also assists families with other immigration matters including "V" visa petitions, work authorization permits, resident alien card replacement, family unity permits, USCIS Investigations and passport photos.

It is estimated that over 20,000 families have benefited from services offered through this program which is open to the community at large.

If you need more information about the Citizenship Center, or if you need a service in any immigration area, please do not hesitate to call for an appointment. Come visit us!
